Social media channels established
07 September 2016
In anticipation of the imminent beginnings of Trichrome Media, certain social media channels have been established to facilitate start up.
There’s a few ideas about a site design floating around in between my ears, but there’s many other things to address first.
I’ve registered on Google Plus and Yell which were both very easy to do. However, if you’re looking to do the same be aware that Yell will pester you with phone calls attempting to persuade you to spend upwards of £30 a month to ‘promote’ your business! JUST SAY ‘NO!’
I’ve also set up a Facebook page, and Twitter account. The aim of the Facebook page is to connect with local businesses and startups, and hopefully I can establish some interesting relationships going forward.
Twitter is probably less useful in this regard, but it is a great way tweeting small snippets, and importantly I can add links back to the Trichrome site, which will certainly aid organic Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
I’m aiming to start as a going concern early in 2017, so I’ve got my work cut out, and an awful lot of business sense to learn.
Ye Gads, I’ve got a lot of work to do before this is officially a going concern, so back to the grindstone!Return to previous page
