Hamilton-Hilton Hotels video
11 December 2016
Before I decided to get a life I was a hardened space bounty hunter, trawling the Milky Way, seeking out the criminal element for deadly retribution.
As part of a commission by some of the head egos of Delta Squad, my cohorts, I created a spoof advert for one of our in-game business concerns.
The Hamilton-Hilton Hotel Space Station is the new level when it comes to luxury off-planetary accommodation, apparently!
I spent a couple of days arranging and recording the music, and then created a video of in-game footage to go along with it.
The music is a synthesiser version of Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata’, one of his most famous compositions. For this arrangement I was attempting to emulate the atmosphere and feel of the music from the renowned 1973 film classic, ‘A Clockwork Orange’.
Directed by cinematography genius, Stanley Kubrik, the dystopian morality tale features synthesised versions of passages from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Absolute genius.
To finish off I then used a Macintosh text-to-voice program to do the voice over, put it all together, and this is the result.Return to previous page
